Egyptian Trips — Last updated: January 2025

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before booking any tour or service with Egyptian Trips. By making a booking you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these terms on behalf of yourself and all members of your travelling party.

1. Company Information

2. Booking & Confirmation

A booking is confirmed once Egyptian Trips issues a written confirmation and the required deposit has been received. All bookings are subject to availability.

• A deposit of 20% of the total tour price is required to confirm your booking.
• The remaining balance is due 30 days before departure.
• For bookings made within 30 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.
• Bookings are only confirmed once we have received your signed booking form and deposit.

3. Prices & Currency

All prices quoted are in USD (US Dollars) unless otherwise stated. Prices are per person unless specified as per group. Egyptian Trips reserves the right to adjust prices in the event of significant currency fluctuations, fuel surcharges or government-imposed tax changes. Any such adjustment will be communicated before your final payment.

4. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be submitted in writing to info@egyptiantrips.com. The date of cancellation is the date we receive your written notice.

5. Changes to Bookings

If you wish to amend your booking (dates, itinerary, or group size) after confirmation, please contact us as early as possible. We will do our best to accommodate changes. An administration fee of $30 per person applies to any amendment made after the booking is confirmed. Changes are subject to availability and may result in price adjustments.

6. Itinerary Changes

Egyptian Trips reserves the right to make modifications to an itinerary when circumstances beyond our control require it (adverse weather, monument closures, government restrictions, etc.). We will always seek a suitable alternative of equal or better value. No refund is provided for services unused due to circumstances beyond our control.

7. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all clients obtain comprehensive travel insurance before travel to Egypt. Your policy should cover, at minimum: trip cancellation, medical emergencies, emergency evacuation, and personal belongings. Egyptian Trips accepts no liability for costs arising from a lack of adequate travel insurance.

8. Passports, Visas & Health Requirements

It is your responsibility to hold a valid passport (valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel date) and obtain any required visas for Egypt. Egyptian Trips is not responsible for any costs, delays or losses resulting from inadequate documentation. Please consult your country’s official embassy or government travel advisory for current Egypt entry requirements.

9. Health & Special Requirements

Please inform us of any medical conditions, dietary requirements, mobility limitations or special needs at the time of booking. We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate them but cannot guarantee all requests. You must be in reasonable physical health to participate in tours involving walking, climbing or desert excursions.

10. Liability

Egyptian Trips acts as a tour organiser and takes reasonable steps to ensure the quality of services provided. However, we are not liable for:

• Personal injury, illness, loss or damage not caused by our negligence
• Events beyond our control including but not limited to strikes, natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics or government action
• Acts or omissions of third-party service providers (airlines, hotels, cruise operators)

Our maximum liability to any client in any circumstances is limited to the total price paid for the tour.

11. Code of Conduct

All clients are expected to behave respectfully toward Egyptian monuments, heritage sites, local communities and fellow travellers. Egyptian Trips reserves the right to remove any client from a tour without refund if their behaviour endangers others, damages property or violates Egyptian law.

12. Privacy & Data

We collect and process personal data (name, passport details, contact information) solely for the purpose of operating your booking. Data is not sold to third parties. By booking with us you consent to this use. For full details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any dispute arising from a booking with Egyptian Trips shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Egyptian courts.
