Discover the very best of Upper Egypt on this magnificent 8-day, 7-night Nile cruise aboard the Blue Shadow Nile Cruise. Sailing between Luxor and Aswan, this journey takes you deep into the world of the pharaohs, passing timeless temples, royal tombs, and riverside villages that have changed little over millennia.
Your adventure begins in Luxor — the ancient city of Thebes — where you’ll explore the legendary Valley of the Kings, the mortuary temple of Hatshepsut, the towering Karnak Temple, and the atmospheric Luxor Temple illuminated at night.
Sailing southward, you’ll stop at Edfu to walk through one of Egypt’s most complete temples, then marvel at the twin-deity shrine of Kom Ombo. The cruise concludes in Aswan with visits to the Philae Temple, the granite Unfinished Obelisk, the engineering wonder of the High Dam, and an optional excursion to the colossal Abu Simbel temples.
